"Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen." - Orhan Pamuk
I learned from an early age the value of having a dog in my life. The human/animal bond is a powerful, mutually beneficial connection that has a positive influence on our quality of life. They can be our eyes and ears, our protection, and our loyal loving companions and they can even teach us to be more human.
That is why in 2017 I decided to study behaviour of the dog and gain a formal qualification and take my passion to the next level which gave me the confidence to offer help and support to owners and dogs to improve this invaluable relationship which is something I am fully committed to achieve.
Modifying behaviour can often take time and lots of patience, it requires us to keep an open mind and have the ability to adjust and adapt to the needs of the client and have realistic expectations of what we aim to achieve. Helping the clients understand natural behaviours of the dog can often make modifying the behaviour easier which in turn strengthens the bond between dog and owner and enabling the owner to feel more in control and less overwhelmed by the situation.
No one knows exactly when the human dog relationships began, we live in a world where dogs are everywhere, my aim… is to simply help us understand them.
